Ten Questions: words, sounds & a bit of profanity

In response to an open call a friend responded about on her blog, here are ten answers to ten questions about what I think.


1.   What is your favorite word?  serendipity.

2.   What is your least favorite word? panties.

3.   What turns you on? books. originality. comedy. music.

4.   What turns you off? cockiness. negativity.

5.   What sound or noise do you love? the birds i hear from my window. jingling keys.

6.   What sound or noise do you hate? metal on metal. other people chewing.

7.   What is your favorite curse word? i think everyone knows that *fuck* is the best curse word. it's an objective fact.

8.   What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? doctor. magazine/book editor. teacher. psychiatrist. actor. singer.

9.   What profession would you not like to do? lawyer. transcriptionist. garbage man (person). president.

10. If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? "Gotcha!"
